Design Process
Phase One: It was accomplished via an ad served solution utilizing Google Ad Manager. This solution provided speed to market by enabling the ability to geo target betting modules appropriately with a low level of development effort. Ad like modules designed in house by ESPN and served on espn.com and within the ESPN Fantasy App. In order to achieve speed to market phase one was ad serve by a chosen 3rd party ad serving vendor ‘Fresh8’.
Phase Two: Moving away from the Ad served modules to more contextual, native integrations within ESPN home-feed card, Game-block , Scores, Schedules, Header Scoreboards, Game-pages. Integrated Partner logo in the ‘Betting Lines’ and in ‘Game Information’ modules.

A comprehensive Competitive market research was done to inform what others are doing on betting.

User Experience
The goal was to design a system that offers a great experience to espn sport fans as well as to provide an engaging experience and increase user loyalty.

Prototyping
Principle and Figma was used to prototype the designs.

User Interface
Align the design to Prism components and ESPN brand guidelines and specifications.
